• What to Bring.
    • If you have your own Yoga Mat, that's great. We do provide Yoga Mats for FREE. Then there are the super cool "Be The Change Yoga Studio" Yoga Mats for sale.
    • Feel free to bring water and a towel. The room is kept warm - but not hot.
    • Most important is to bring an open mind...then the body will follow. 

 

  •  What to Wear.

 

    • Defintely comfort is key. But be aware that there are times when you will be in an inverted position - like Downward Facing Dog - so baggy t-shirts will block your beathing.....best to have on a close fitting top. 
    • No socks, please.
    • Cotton is good because it breathes.
    • Lycra is best, or any fabric that whicks moisture away.
    • Be The Change will be offering Yoga Clothing in the future.

  • What to know.

 

    • All classes are Open Level. That way beginners can see what they are working towards, and everyone can practice to their personal level for that day.
    • This is an athletic form of Hatha Yoga commonly refered to as Vinyasa.
    • You will sweat! So hydrate throughout the day.
    • An empty stomach is easier for practice....but please do not starve yourself. Your body will need fuel to function.
    • All instructors at Be The Change Yoga Studio are here for you. Feel free to ask questions. We ara available before and after class.
